I don't know how many other Fleet Air Arm Ratings have signed your guest book but this is being done in the true spirit of Christmas!!! My sisters' partner is Bob Aspinal who retired as a Lt.SD(Reg) - is that the correct title? - about 20 years ago. Unfortunately Bob is now seriusly ill on the intensive care ward of The Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant (01443-443443) My experiences of the Reg Branch (Patrolmen in my day!)were confined to joining or leaving routines or the occasional "doffing of my lid" but I realise you are a close knit bunch. As an old regulator known in Leading Patrolman days as the "Devil Bat" at least in RN Patrol HQ in Portsmouth, and serving as a LPM and RPO from 1954 to 1963. I am truly amazed at the advance that the branch has made. Good Luck to you all. Added: December 11, 2008
