Pat Doubleday

It is with sadness that we have to inform you that Pat Doubleday has today crossed the bar. Pat was a staunch member of the Assocation Committee.

Pats' funeral will take place on Tuesday the 31st January 2012 at 1400 at Porchester Crem - POST CODE PO16 8NE The family have said they will welcome any Ex Regulator and friends of Pat to attend

Les Willcox

The Association has been informed that Les Willcox crossed the Bar on the 1st January. Les during his service career served in Submarines and later trabsfered to the Regulating Branch. He was a loyal member of the Associarion. Henry Cooper the Secretary has said that Les at last years Reunion donated £10.00 toward a plaque or other meomento that the Association decide to put up in memory of Peter Robertson, and that Les will be a sad loss to the Association

The funeral will tale place at 1230 Wednesday the 25th January 2012 in St Paul's Church, Bentham Road, Thamesmead, London SE28 8AS. If you are able you are welcome to attend

The Association has been informed that Ray Dryden has crossed the Bar. Ray Lived in Waterlooville, joining the Branch in 1958 retiring in 1973

The Association has been informed that Gerard (Doc) Livingston has crossed the bar. Doc was living in East Brent Victoria Australia. Doc joined the branch in 1969 retiring in 1976

Jim has as he says has at last joined the Association he joined the branch in 1973 and served in the following RNPHQ Helensburgh, Andromeda, RNPHQ PLYMOUTH, SHAPE, RNAS CULDROSE, AMAZON, NORFOLK retiring in 1990 now works as a civil servant and lives in Helston

Lou has joined the Assocation, joined the Branch in 1979 serving in the following ships and establishments: -
RNPHQ Plymouth, HMS Avenger, RNPHQ London, 1 CDO Brigade, HMS Alacrity, RAF Newton (Dog Handler)
NP 1002 Diego Garcia, HMS Drake Discipline RPO
In 1989 Lou left the RN and joined the RAN Police and served on board Garden Island and 1 CAMD Newington until 1993.
Lou is now lives in Camden NSW OZ

Only 12 months late, just to inform you that Roger Charles (Charlie) joined the Assocation last October, sorry its a bit late, bit better late then never.
Roger joined the Branch in 1978 joining RNPHQ Portland on qualifying, then NPM London, HMS Eurylaus, SIB Plymouth, Diego Garcia, HMS Avenger as the MAA, FO Plymouth MAA retiring in 1994, now living in Grantham, and now teaching in the police national forensic college.

Ben Lynes

On the 14th October Ben Lynes crossed the bar. In March Ben was diagnosed with
asbestosis of the pleura a very aggressive form of cancer. The photo was taken in 1964 on our LPM(Q) course, Ben reached the dizzy heights of Lt SD REG before retiring to Somerset, his other claim to fame was that he looked after Teresa the goat who was the Reg School mascot whilst awaiting course. .
