Re: Ex RPO Patrick (Mick) O'Gara RIP

Sad news indeed, I relieved Mick aboard Torquay in 1974 and I was unsure if he was still with us. Now that he has gone all regulators that I relieved or was relieved by has now crossed the bar. It seems for better or worse now that I am the sole survivor. RIP old son.

Sad news, I did meet him but I cannot remember where, young chap as I recall. I don't know what took him to Brazil as it's not the country I would live in by choice, very unstable like Argentina. Re: Vic Denholm R.I.P.

Very sad indeed, both Derek Lawrence and Vic Denholm now gone, two of the nicest people I ever worked with. RIP both of you.

Re: Trevor Bloom RIP

RIP old son, one of the funniest men I ever met, starred in the film 'Dunkirk' as one of the RN extras. He had quite a talent in his own way, quite a rancotor. I would have loved to have seen him play the old Michael Caine part, "You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off". Lost a good one....
