On Wednesday 18th July 2007, 154 British Veterans, including RBA Member, Mike Cleave, received the Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medal from the Malaysian government, commemorating their part in winning a bitter jungle campaign in the 1950’s and 1960’s. |

It has taken some time to come to fruition after miles of red tape and some controversy, but of the 205 people eligible in Spain, 154 finally received their medal from Colonel Tajri Alwi, the Defence Attaché to the Malaysian High Commission in London at a ceremony at the Melia Hotel in Alicante. |
